What is available at Autumn Oaks to keep my lifestyle active?

Our community offers an endless list of activities within the interest of our residents. We have a full time life enrichment coordinator on our management team who plans activities for the month in advance. Along with the daily activities we also hold planned events for special occasions.

Assisted Living:

What type of housekeeping assistance does Autumn Oaks provide?

Here at Autumn Oaks we have a full time housekeeper who cleans the entire facility including dusting, vacuuming and cleaning each resident’s bedroom and bathroom and making their bed. Our caregivers on staff are not responsible for housekeeping.

Does Autumn Oaks take care of a resident’s laundry?

At Autumn Oaks we wash your loved one’s personal laundry, bed linens and any other laundry needed. Anti-bacterial laundry detergent and fabric softener are used. We fold and return completed laundry to each resident’s room.

Will Autumn Oaks provide nutritional meals and assist a resident if needed?

Here at Autumn Oaks we have a full time licensed dietary manager who prepares a variety of nutritious meals and accommodates special dietary needs three times a day. Our staff and dietician are available to serve and assist your loved one with meals. They also assess and monitor monthly weight gain or loss.

What can you tell me about the staff at Autumn Oaks?

Our staff here at Autumn Oaks includes a licensed nurse and onsite trained caregivers available 24 hours a day. Our caregivers complete twenty hours of orientation and on the job training as well as attend educational classes throughout the year. These individuals perform the following services on a daily basis:

  • Disperse and monitor medications
  • Monitor vital signs daily
  • Communicate with the family physician and his/her staff
  • Develop a daily care plan with family members for their loved one
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and all other activities of daily life as needed.

Does Autumn Oaks help manage medication?

Autumn Oaks monitors and disperses medication upon request. Our staff also communicates with the pharmacy on re-ordering medications.

What is included in the monthly rent?

Autumn Oaks charges a flat monthly rate. We do not charge additional fees for levels of care or utilize a care point system. The only extra expenses you may incur are for the following:

  • Private telephone line
  • Beauty salon
  • Cable
  • Incontinent supplies
  • Medications
  • Medical needs we cannot meet
